About Lakeplain Prairie Farm
Lakeplain Prairie Organic Farm began as a community-supported agricultural farm serving 30 families annually during the growing season during 2004 through 2006. Certified organic vegetables were produced and shared between the member families. During 2007 and 2008, the farm produce was sold at local farmers markets, including the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce market and the Detroit West Side Farmers Markets. Additionally, local area health food stores featured our produce, such as Nutrition Unlimited in Southgate, Michigan.
